// 01 - GATEWAY

The Gateway that speaks your field bus.

The READS Gateway is an industrial edge device that bridges your field-level instrumentation with our READS Backend or your on-premise backend. It supports a wide range of southbound industrial protocols like IO-Link, Modbus, CANopen and more - translating raw sensor signals into clean, structured data streams. All inputs are galvanically isolated, protecting your sensors and the Gateway from ground loops, voltage spikes, and electrical noise even in harsh industrial environments. For connectivity, the Gateway offers Cellular, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi, so it adapts to whatever infrastructure is available on site. Security is built in from the ground up: TLS-encrypted connections, certificate-based authentication, and signed firmware updates. Before any data leaves the device, the Gateway performs local processing - buffering readings during connectivity loss, running a configurable rule engine for edge-side alerts, and aggregating data to reduce bandwidth and storage needs.

  • 4 isolated, per-channel configurable sensor inputs
  • Local buffering, Aggregation & Rule engine
  • Cellular, Ethernet (2× GbE/TSN) and Wi-Fi 6
  • Signed firmware, Over-the-air updates with rollback

// 02 - BACKEND

A Backend built for time-series at scale.

The READS Backend is the central hub where your field data becomes usable: it receives encrypted data streams from any number of Gateways, validates and stores them as time-series records, and turns raw values into meaningful, named measurements. It is built on ThingsBoard, a proven open-source IoT platform - hardened and pre-configured by us, so you get multi-tenancy, device management and a powerful rule engine without vendor lock-in. Incoming telemetry passes through configurable processing pipelines: unit conversion, range and quality checks, threshold and offline alarms, and aggregation for long-term storage. Everything is accessible through a clean REST API - and deployment is container-native: our managed cloud or fully on-premise, your choice of data sovereignty.

  • Efficient time-series storage & Retention policies
  • REST API for downstream systems & Integrations
  • Configurable processing & Alerting pipelines
  • Cloud-hosted or On-premise, Container-native

// 03 - DASHBOARD

The Dashboard. Watch it run - live.

The READS Dashboard is where your plant becomes visible: a real-time view of every site, machine and sensor - no installation, just a URL. Alarms are front and center, dashboards are multi-tenant and role-based, and the same live view works on the control-room screen, the office PC and the phone in the field. Our example below shows a wastewater plant with simulated live data.

Hover your mouse cursor over a machine to view its current values.

Interactive READS Dashboard demo showing a wastewater plant with real-time sensor data, machine-level navigation, threshold alarms, and live trend charts. The dashboard runs in any modern browser without installation.

Security is not a feature. It's the default.

TLS

Encrypted transport

TLS 1.3 on every hop - from gateway uplink to browser session.

X.509

Device identity

Certificate-based authentication. Every device carries its own key.

FW

Signed firmware

Only signed images run. OTA updates roll back automatically on failure.

Let's put your data on the map.

Tell us about your use case - we build the solution around it.
